About the Position

The Engineering Supervisor is an integral part of the Engineering Team, who will handle preventive maintenance of all hotel equipment. They will possess the basic knowledge to diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, diesel generators and associated equipment throughout the entire building. In addition, they will have knowledge on repair and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, refrigeration & HVAC, laundry & kitchen equipment, painting & decorating.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including all shifts: AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum two years previous engineering experience is required with previous supervisory experience. Previous experience in a luxury resort setting is preferred and trade education is a plus.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of operation and maintenance of swimming pools and Jacuzzis.
• CPO certification is preferred, but not required.
