Electrical Engineer / GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead

You will be the Electrical Engineer/ GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, including the production of the GMLRS rockets.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer/ GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership and guidance of subsystem supplier sourcing efforts to ensure the successful development and integration of electrical subsystems. Your responsibilities will include:

Working within a team of Electrical Engineers to evaluate electrical/electronic failures and determine the appropriate root cause and corrective actions.
Independently perform complex troubleshooting on electrical/electronic systems.
Hands-On troubleshooting using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment.
Understanding and interpreting schematics and performance requirements related to the GMLRS rocket system and subsystems.
Work within a cross-functional team to effectively address integration and interface challenges faced during development and Integration.
Support engineering activities with subject matter experts.
Creation of technical documentation describing test failures and troubleshooting procedures that comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.
Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans and contract requirements.
May support engineers in the development of technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience in development, production, and supplier support.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
- Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
- Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation
- Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.- Experience working technical proposals.
- Candidate will need to be able to obtain MRBE status with the appropriate training/mentoring.
- Experience working failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.
- Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
- Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production.
