As a Structural Analyst on GS, you will:
Perform detailed structural design and analysis on spacecraft components and the entire spacecraft system
Provide technical memos and recommendations to support peer and customer reviews
Present design and analysis data to the spacecraft design/engineering team, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel at technical interchange meetings and formal design reviews
Provide review, interpretation, flow-down, and implementation of program requirements
Provide test support for component-level and system-level thermal tests Bachelors or higher Degree in Engineering (or related technical field) or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with structural analysis methods and processes (e.g., load paths, mechanical joints, stress/strain, fatigue/fracture, buckling, classical hand calculations)
Experience with finite element numerical solution tools (e.g., NX & NX Nastran)
US Citizenship and the desire and ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance Experience with engineering level computer programming (e.g., Matlab)
Experience with test engineering, instrumentation, data collection, and/or test reports
Self-motivated with an active interest to learn from and engage with team
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
Active Top Secret or SCI Security Clearance
