Position Summary:
Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design, develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and design, development, optimization and problem solving in our Finished Product Warehouse at the Jenks facility. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to the facility Engineering Manager with dotted line reporting to the Logistics Manager and receives direction in the form of general project objectives and day-to-day asset needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead single or multiple products or process and equipment improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through commercialization.
- Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of Distribution equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
- Develop 35-year major maintenance/capital plans to ensure equipment remains in good condition.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and o6) Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
- Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.
- Liaison for 3rd Party Maintenance Team
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree from an accredited college or university.
- Requires 5 plus years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires experience with manufacturing control systems, such as Rockwell programming, AC Drives, Servo Drives, and PLC logic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specific, in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in packaging, conveying, palletizing and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
- 10 plus years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.
- Familiarity with machine startups.
- Experience working with external technical service providers.

Salary Range: 85,540 105,620 USD
