As a Staff Engineer, you will lead the design, estimation and execution of factory capital improvement projects such as new equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades and safety enhancements. You will investigate and resolve plant operational concerns and drive process improvement. You will proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives utilizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tools and methods.
- Plan and direct capital projects to expand and improve factory operations, upgrade and maintain our infrastructure, utilities and grounds, in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies and procedures
- Design layout and integration of new equipment into the factory and manufacturing process, including all required utilities and material flow
- Work with cross-functional groups of employees and contractors to successfully manage and execute key projects while ensuring compliance with all company standards including safety, quality and cost control
- Participate in Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) operational reviews and use TPM methodology to uncover and resolve the causes of unplanned downtime
- Support factory maintenance by providing engineering assistance as needed
- Champion Nestl safety, health, quality and environmental objectives and foster a work environment that enables our operations to perform among the safest companies in the marketplace
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 1+ years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $84,000 to $108,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
