Description

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Design Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and implementing I&C hardware for I&C Systems in Nuclear Power Plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.Deliver high quality engineering mechanical cabinet drawings utilized in the retrofit applications ofnew I&C Electronic System replacement.Plan DIN rail, terminal block, and assembly for logical signal flow and clean wiring.Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CADsoftwareDesign enclosure layouts and cooling solutions to manage heat dissipation for solid-state devicesRouting power and control wiring to minimize interference and maintain code compliance.Select appropriate components (relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, etc.) based on applicationand standards.Work with Technical Leader to establish effective work plan, including time estimates,requirements, and work processes.Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and documentation packages for production and customers.Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (UL508A, NEC, CE, IEC, etc.).Support testing, and troubleshooting during production and commissioning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate/Bachelor/Masters degree in Mechatronics, CAD/CAM, Electrical Engineering3+ years of experience in electrical/control panel design.Proficient with CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, CREO, Pro-panel).Experience with ERP systems for BOM managementPLM, PDM, ERP: CAD File Management, Document Control, BOM management & EngineeringChange Management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
