Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, contributing to various aspects of the wipes manufacturing process. You will drive continuous improvement efforts, lead projects, and support business objectives, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians. Assist maintenance in troubleshooting all aspects of the wipes manufacturing process. Lead continuous improvement efforts for electrical controls and process monitoring. Oversee new equipment installation and start-up. Implement automation to improve quality. Modify machines to enhance performance. Participate in activities with cross-functional teams. Lead projects and activities to support business objectives. Administer arc flash training and track compliance records for qualified associates annually. Develop expertise in electrical design of components, equipment, and processes. Drive plant continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and asset management. Assist in the development and commercialization of new/existing processes. Coordinate electrical fabrication, operation, installation, and/or repair of equipment. Support purchasing by providing equipment specifications and resolving equipment or parts issues. Lead a team of Electrical Controls Technicians and play a direct role in their development and training. Essential Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education. 3-5 years' experience programming in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Computer/PLC/HMI programming with relevant drive and control systems. Strong analytical skills and exposure to project management. Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC 500 and 5000. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Batch or liquids blending experience preferred. Superior organizational skills. Experience with RSLogix5000 and Fanuc. Experience in developing electrical design of components and processes. Commitment to principles of safety and compliance with government regulations.
