Our client, a leader in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Semiconductor Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Semiconductor Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting new product development efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to engineering challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Semiconductor Electrical Engineer

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon

Pay Range: $50/hr. - $55/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Debug and resolve EMC issues identified during initial product regulatory compliance testing.
  • Retrieve and interpret relevant design information to address uncovered EMC challenges.
  • Develop a plan for in-house debugging and coordinate with external test labs for retesting.
  • Manage the procurement of test equipment and oversee on-site debugging activities.
  • Document findings and recommendations in a comprehensive engineering report.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in EMC testing and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with test equipment and methodologies related to EMC issues.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
