Test Engineering Technician

Perform environmental testing on spaceflight hardware and inspect mechanical and electrical components. Assist in writing technical work instructions while adhering to the quality management system AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental testing on spaceflight hardware.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components for quality assurance.
• Assist in the development and writing of technical work instructions.
• Adhere to the AS9100 quality management system standards.

• Experience with environmental testing techniques such as static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.
• Proficiency with inspection tools including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management system.
• Ability to write and interpret technical work instructions.

• Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.

The role is based in a manufacturing environment located in Longmont, CO, also known as the RF Center of Excellence. This site focuses on RF-related applications and supports space applications, including the Falccon Broadband Space Antenna project. This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr.
