More information on SENMC can be obtained from its website at Southeast New Mexico College (SENMC) is seeking a motivated and highly organized Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of college programs and initiatives for the Workforce Department. The Project Coordinator oversees the coordination and implementation of a range of college initiatives, special projects, and grant-supported activities, ensuring projects move forward efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with institutional priorities. This role focuses on organizing workflows, managing timelines and deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting projects from concept through completion in alignment with institutional goals and requirements.
The Project Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to help organize workflows, track timelines and deliverables, support events and programming, and ensure effective communication across projects. The role requires strong organizational systems, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while supporting student-centered and community-focused initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple college initiatives, special projects, and related activities from concept through completion.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, workflows, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with institutional priorities and deadlines.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration among faculty, staff, students, administrators, and community partners involved in assigned projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or obstacles, and proactively resolve issues to support successful outcomes.
- Organize, maintain, and track project documentation, data, and reporting requirements with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Prepare professional correspondence, reports, summaries, and project-related materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses and appropriate routing of information.
- Maintain organized systems for managing information, schedules, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable FERPA requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems, and enhance project coordination processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of college initiatives.

- Knowledge of project coordination principles, workflows, and best practices within an organizational setting.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.

- Proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and project-tracking tools.

- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, administrators, and community partners from diverse backgrounds.
