Control Systems Solutions Engineer - Proposals

Prepare DCS proposals for power industry projects, including new generation, retrofits, renewable power applications, and datacenter/AIfocused solutions.
Define proposal strategies that align with customer requirements, organizational goals, and market insights.
Collaborate across teams to validate technical feasibility, engineering requirements, and costeffective solutions.
Engage directly with customers to communicate Emersons capabilities and understand application needs.
Develop optimal project cost structures that mitigate technical risk and strengthen competitive positioning.
Support presentations, interviews, and negotiations using deep understanding of customer applications and industry competition.
Partner effectively with sales, engineering, project teams, and global offices as needed to deliver cohesive proposal packages.
You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You design feedback loops into work to deliver continuous improvement. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles, setbacks, and ambiguity. You establish and maintain effective relationships.
For This Role, You Will Need:BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
Experience with control systems such as DCS or SCADA.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Knowledge of or experience with the Ovation DCS platform.
- Background in proposal development, cost estimating, or project engineering.
- Experience working with datacenter applications or customers.
