Engineering Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The engineering technician will work under the direction of management and/or engineering staff as determined by senior management. This role will work on a variety of engineering tasks, such as prototype testing, equipment trouble shooting, data collection, data processing, tooling fixtures, etc., depending on skills and experience.

ESSENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recognize any unsafe conditions and take action to correct while reporting to supervisor, lead, or other management representative immediately
• Use precision measuring instruments
• Design and build manufacturing equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate solid experience with the following:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Design/Build Equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma and 2 or more years' experience as a technician in MIM industry or equivalent experience as determined by management
• An associate's degree or similar certificate in a complimentary trade preferred
• Knowledge of various machinery, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties
• Possess excellent computer/PC skills (including word & excel knowledge)
• Acute attention to detail

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
