Electrical Project Engineer
Locations: Lehi, UT; Billings, MT; Fargo, ND; Grand Forks ND; Maple Grove, MN

The Electrical Project Engineer is designed for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning from experienced engineers, and seeing their designs turn into real-world infrastructure.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll support and deliver electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, municipal systems, and process facilities. You'll work across power distribution and generation, lighting, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA systemscollaborating closely with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams. You'll gain exposure to increasingly complex projects while developing the technical judgment needed to take on more responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration
Manage performance of assigned project team members
Maintain existing client relationships and enhance pursued relationships with clients
Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
Develop new markets, client relationships, etc.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
4+ years of electrical system design experience
Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred
5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in water and/or wastewater treatment
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
Medium voltage experience
Scope and fee development specific to electrical design
