Water Resources Engineer

Water Resources Engineer Cherry Hill, NJ (415 Years Experience)

Well-established engineering consulting firm in the Cherry Hill, NJ area is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level to senior engineer looking to work on impactful stormwater, drainage, and watershed projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of stormwater management systems, drainage, and erosion & sediment control
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.)
• Prepare reports, permitting documents, and construction plans
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage projects and mentor junior staff (for more experienced candidates)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 415 years of relevant water resources / stormwater experience
• EIT required; PE preferred (or on track)
• Strong experience with modeling software and design standards
• Knowledge of NJDEP regulations a plus
