This position supports the Tool Services team. This position includes understanding standard tools required to build aircraft/sub-assemblies, troubleshooting and repairing system software issues in CribMaster, coordinating procuring tools needed for production, and enhancing system requirements for improved tool accountability and traceability within Aeronautics.

What You Will Be Doing

The successful candidate will analyze data to develop improved report requirements. They will research tool control technology used in the industry to identify possible enhanced solutions that will eliminate manual processes and improve traceability. They will make recommendations based on data analysis, development, and execute plans for approved projects.

The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, reporting their status, and driving projects to completion. The individual will also create training documentation and visual aids to ensure tool compliance and process enhancements are clearly communicated.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated abilities with data analysis, detail oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams. Holds a bachelors degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
Standard Tool Engineering background, ability to read/create tool specs.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving using CribMaster, ability to develop reports from CribMaster
SAP experience
Proficient in PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with data or software analysis
Strong sense of follow-up with strict attention to detail and quality
Support Tool Requirements for Production to ensure a controlled flow of approved tools meet production needs.
Ability to work in a team environment
Tool Add/Replenishment Process (TARP), ability to monitor workflow to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve complex issues, and meet deadlines
