PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced Design Engineer to join a dynamic Steam Power Services Engineering team. This is your chance to work on industrydefining projects, partner with worldclass engineering professionals, and influence meaningful improvements across large-scale power generation.

What You Will Do
As a Design Engineer, you'll be a trusted technical leader supportingplex service and repair activities. Every day brings meaningful, challenging work, including:
Core Responsibilities
Deliver expert technical guidance during outage planning and execution for industrial, fossil, and nuclear steam turbines.
Leadplex repair engineering on rotors, diaphragms, valves, casings, and other critical turbineponents.
Serve as the central technical interface for repair projectspartnering with sourcing, quality, field services, sales, and engineering teams.
Own and deliver key engineering project milestones, ensuring ontime, safe, and high-quality oues.
Act as Project Engineering Manager for turbine upgrades, capital parts, valve solutions, and engineering studies.
Support and lead root cause analyses, develop correctivepreventative actions, and resolve productprocess nonconformances.
Provide inspection and test plans for disassembly, assembly, and repair operations.
Participate in design reviews, firstofa-kind qualifications, and technical risk discussionsoften directly with customers.
Mentor peers, support continuous improvement, and champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives.
Travel domestically (approx. 5-10%) for customer site engagements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of steam turbine service engineering experience.
2+ years of handson field execution experience (power generation strongly preferred).
Proven abilities in Root Cause Analysis, technical problem-solving, and engineering project execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CATIA or similar CAD drafting tools.
Strongmunication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Solid understanding of steam turbine systems, balance of plant operations, andponent inspectionrepair methods.
Experience with turbine disassembly, assembly, start-ups, and operational behaviors.
A collaborative, agile mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
