Mechatronics Test EngineerLocation: Mount Ayr, IARelocation assistance availableSalary: $70-100k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for testing and validating various systems and controls for batteries and EVs. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechatronics systems, particularly in the context of electric vehicles and associated technologies. The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring product reliability and performance through rigorous testing procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement test plans for electrical and mechatronic systems.Conduct testing on various components including motors, batteries, and control systems.Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports of findings.Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications during testing processes.Utilize software tools such as Matlab and Linux for data analysis and test automation.Work with PLC, VFD, and Modbus systems as part of testing protocols.Maintain and upgrade test cells and related equipment for optimal performance.Qualifications1+ years of experience in testing, electrical controls, or mechatronic systems.Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.Experience with electric vehicle technologies, including batteries and internal combustion engines.Familiarity with CAN, sensors, and control systems including PLC and VFD.Knowledge of software tools such as Cyflex, Filezilla, and Uniplot is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k with company matchLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistance
