We are seeking a highly experienced senior level Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution of complex capital projects across a diverse industrial manufacturing network. This role is responsible for delivering large-scale engineering initiatives from early concept development through construction, commissioning, and final project closeout. You will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and external contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with long-term operational objectives. This position is ideal for a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in industrial capital project delivery and stakeholder management. Lead multi-disciplinary capital projects focused on capacity expansion, modernization, reliability, safety, and cost optimization Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation Own full project lifecycle delivery, from feasibility and design through commissioning and operational handoff Establish and manage capital budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Track and report project costs, progress, and performance metrics Lead formal change management processes, including scope, schedule, and cost adjustments Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect outcomes Coordinate engineering design efforts to ensure constructability, operability, and compliance with internal standards Collaborate closely with plant operations and maintenance teams to ensure long-term reliability and safety Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure alignment with design intent Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project phases Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and internal policy requirements Support contractor selection, bid development, and vendor evaluation processes Manage contractor performance across safety, quality, schedule, and cost metrics Oversee contract administration, including invoicing, documentation, and project closeout Serve as the primary liaison between site leadership, corporate stakeholders, and external partners Provide regular updates, forecasts, and risk assessments to leadership Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related discipline) 8+ years of experience managing capital or engineering projects in industrial or manufacturing environments Demonstrated success delivering multi-million-dollar capital projects Strong expertise in project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in operational environments Preferred experience: Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience in bulk material handling, processing, or heavy industrial operations Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., scheduling software, ERP systems, analytics platforms) Additional Information Email: cpaisley irgsolution.com Subject: Engineering Project Manager- Fruitland, MD Meet Your Recruiter Craig Paisley
