D escription: Senior Project Manager:
Contractor staff assigned to this agreement must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of ten years of project management experience, including developing project plans, risk tracking, mitigation, and work tasks and maintaining project schedules (including work breakdown structures).
- A minimum of ten years communicating project updates both orally and in written format with technical staff, executive management, and user staff.
- A minimum of ten years facilitating current state or application analysis sessions and documenting applications through use of case process documents and workflow diagrams.
- A minimum of ten years with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation.
- A minimum of ten years developing and presenting detailed status reports to management and leadership level decision-makers.
- A minimum of ten years delivering projects on the approved project schedule and within an approved budget.
- A minimum of seven years leading data or system modernization projects in a state government domain or agency.
- A minimum of one year working with Early Intervention Information Technology systems.
- Active Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
SERVICE TASKS: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
- Serve as a Project Manager for the Early Steps Data System (ESDS), as directed by the Department.
- As directed by the Department, manage the post-implementation stabilization activities of the ESDS to ensure solution performance meets the Departments requirements.
- As directed by the Department, manage post implementation system issue resolution by prioritizing issues based on business impact, ensure timely resolution, and validate that fixes are tested, approved, and deployed according to Departments change control procedures.
- Oversee post implementation monitoring of system performance, availability, and user experience metrics, as directed by the Department.
- As directed by the Department, act as a liaison between the ESDS Project Team participants (which includes the Departments Division of Childrens Medical Services, Bureau of Early Steps and Newborn Screening, the Departments Office of Information Technology, regional and local users of the system, and other external stakeholders) and data system vendor as identified by the Department.
- As directed by the Department, maintain overall accountability and adherence for post implementation system operations, service levels, compliance requirements, and vendor performance through continuous oversight of the ESDS system project.
- Manage system requirements by capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing enhancement requests and facilitating enhancement request reviews, as directed by the Department.
- Manage system changes and enhancements UAT planning, test case review, and acceptance validation, as directed by the Department.
- As directed by the Department, manage organizational change management activities, including communication planning and stakeholder engagement for system updates.
- As directed by the Department, oversee user training and knowledge-sharing sessions on new features, enhancements, and best practices.
- As directed by the Department, manage and maintain the Project Risks, Action Items, Issues, Deliverables and Decisions (RAID) log and other Project logs, in coordination with the Departments designated System Administrator.
- Weekly, during the post implementation stabilization period according to the timeline provided by the Department, monitor the progress of work and post implementation hosting, operations, maintenance and enhancements period.
- As directed by the Department, review, as a technical expert, the post implementation deliverables and tasks performed by the ESDS vendor for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Provide analytical research to satisfy queries requested by the Legislature and Department management, as directed by the Department. As directed by the Department, create a report of the research and submit it to the Department Contract Manager.
- Manage system enhancements and changes required by legislative mandates by analyzing the impact of new or updated laws, coordinating with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritizing changes, and ensuring timely implementation and compliance with statutory deadlines, as directed by the Department.
- Facilitate ESDS Project Team meetings with the Departments technical and program staff and perform associated project management meeting tasks, as directed by the Department.
- Weekly, communicate and respond (both verbally and in written formats) with the Project Team, management, program, and technical staff regarding the status of project activities to ensure a common understanding among stakeholders about the goals, performance, risks, and accomplishments of the project.
- As directed by the Department, review, edit, and expand existing ESDS training materials to ensure alignment with training needs, as identified by the Department, and make recommendations to develop and implement enhanced training for the ESDS. 6.1.19. DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK: The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with all Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order
- This is a Contract assignment with our Client: State Government
- Full Time: 40 Hours Per Week
- Duration: 1 Year with possible extensions.
- Work Location: Hybrid with limited presence in Tallahassee, FL.
- This is a W-2 Contract role with Meridian.
- Health Benefits Available.
- Contract Pay Rate Range: $75.00 to $80.00 Per Hour.
- There is no C2C or Visa Sponsorship with this role.
This position is located in Location is Tallahassee, Florida with Work From Home Flexibility. Consultants should reside in the area or indicate the reason they are willing/seeking to relocate. Also, interested Consultants must indicate they are willing to relocate at their own expense as this position does not offer relocation assistance.
