Job Responsibilities
Creare, a leader in cutting-edge R D, develops new technologies and provides analysis, design, experimental, computational, product, and consulting services to industry and government, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Engineer.
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead business development and program management efforts while driving new product development.
The ideal candidate will have experience in power electronics, space electronics, and/or defense systems, and will be responsible for leading new product development, managing programs from concept to delivery, and driving growth in key technical areas.
Lead product development initiatives, focusing on power electronics, space and defense systems.
Manage complex, high-stakes programs from concept through execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R D, sales, and manufacturing, to deliver innovative solutions.
Serve as a key technical expert, providing guidance on power electronics and advanced systems.
Develop and execute business strategies to expand market presence and identify new growth opportunities.
Lead proposal development for new projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the defense and aerospace industries.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful program outcomes.
Professional Requirements
Master's degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Extensive experience in business development and program management, ideally within the defense, aerospace, or high-tech sectors.
Proven leadership experience managing complex programs and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for aerospace and defense products (e.g., AS9100).
Entrepreneurial mindset and readiness for a leadership role in Creare.
