TECHNICAL DESIGNER - Young Mens and Boys - Hybrid

Salary: $90,000 + Job Location: New York, NY- Hybrid Well-known activewear brand is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team! You will be responsible for achieving impeccable fit and construction standards in this role. If you are detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment, please apply! Update and create technical packaging to be sent to overseas factories, including grading, construction description, and proposed garment specs. Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy. Assist in fit sessions: take notes and photos of the required corrections on fit and construction and send them to the vendor. Review with vendors on grading and construction corrections that are required. QUALIFICATIONS: College degree or equivalent work experience. 5 years plus technical design experience in the retail garment industry, including knowledge of activewear and performance wear Patternmaking experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word. Working knowledge of Microsoft Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
