Electrical Engineer - Hardware Verification (RF Test Systems) Job Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule (Employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours per pay period, with every other Friday off) Work Location: On-site (U.S.-based facility) Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience) Benefits Package Includes: Health, dental, and vision insurance Disability coverage 401(k) with company match Flexible spending accounts (FSA) Employee assistance program (EAP) Education assistance programs Paid parental leave Paid time off (PTO) Company-paid holidays Job Summary As a member of the Hardware Design Verification and Validation (HDV) team, this role focuses on the design and automation of RF test and measurement systems used for testing and characterizing advanced communication and networking systems. The position also involves close collaboration with engineers, scientists, and management to analyze test data, develop visualizations, and generate technical reports supporting product performance evaluation. Essential Functions Design, develop, and debug software applications for control and automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStand Improve measurement algorithms, techniques, and reporting processes to enhance quality and reduce overall test time Collaborate with electrical engineering and cross-functional teams to evaluate measurement techniques and interpret test data against product performance requirements Organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources, leveraging automation where possible Develop reporting tools and visualizations to communicate product performance and test results effectively Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers within the HDV team Maintain a positive attitude with openness to new ideas and willingness to learn new tools and technologies Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance may be required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, OR In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of relevant experience Preferred Skills Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD) Familiarity with software management tools (e.g., Git/SVN, JIRA) RF and baseband test and measurement experience Experience with test equipment such as spectrum/network analyzers, power meters, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and audio analyzers Experience with RS-232, Ethernet, USB, TCP/IP communications Exposure to networking and radio communication systems Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, XML, HTML/CSS/JavaScript Strong verbal and written communication skills Hands-on LabVIEW programming experience Strong test and measurement background
