Spherion Staffing of Fargo is seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong aviation background to support the design, analysis, and certification of aircraft medical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed 3D models, performing structural stress analysis, and preparing the technical documentation required for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approvals.

Salary Range: $80-100k DOE

Responsibilities:
-Perform three-dimensional modeling and drafting for all parts and assemblies manufactured by the company
-Calculate and write comprehensive stress analysis reports for equipment requiring STC approval
-Draft critical reports for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the STC approval process
-Create assembly instructions within equipment drawings and provide technical assistance to shop personnel during manufacturing
-Work closely with the entire engineering team, ensuring consistent communication throughout the project life cycle
-Maintain high professionalism standards and strictly comply with established safety requirements and standards

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
-Direct experience with aircraft systems, aviation products, or aerospace manufacturing
-Deep understanding of aerospace technologies and aviation certification/regulatory processes
-Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
-3+ years of professional engineering experience, specifically in a regulated or safety-critical environment
-Expert-level 3D modeling and drafting skills using Autodesk Inventor and Cadkey
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
