Role Overview
We are seeking a Solution Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering & Design team focused on building intelligent, data-driven warehouse automation solutions.
In this role, you will design and optimize fulfillment workflows by integrating robotics, software systems, and operational processes into scalable automation solutions. You'll work closely with engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams to translate warehouse challenges into efficient workflows, system integrations, and performance improvements.
The ideal candidate combines strong warehouse operations knowledge with data-driven problem-solving and systems integration expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize warehouse workflows across robotics, software, and operations
- Build fulfillment logic, task prioritization, and automation workflows
- Support WMS/ERP integrations including Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP, and Oracle
- Translate operational requirements into scalable workflows and automation rules
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and exception handling
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops
- Validate workflows using simulation and modeling tools
- Develop dashboards and KPI tracking for operational performance
- Leverage data analytics and AI concepts to improve decision-making and efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and operations teams
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS/WES/WCS platforms
- Experience with systems integration and workflow design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, and KPI modeling
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts including predictive analytics and optimization
- Experience with APIs and system connectivity (REST, JSON/XML, webhooks)
- Experience using workflow and visualization tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse automation or robotics environments
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as FlexSim or AnyLogic
- Experience supporting fulfillment, retail, manufacturing, or logistics operations
- Understanding of orchestration platforms and automation decision frameworks
