Engineering Technologist IV Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 Contract length: 21-Month Contract Pay: $37/hr - $42.65/hr Engineering Technologist IV Qualifications Required BS in Engineering or Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience Working knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and documentation Experience with engineering tools, drafting software, and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and communication skills Preferred 6+ years of experience in an engineering or technical support role Experience supporting utility, energy, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with engineering systems or asset management tools Experience with Maximo Engineering Technologist IV Description Provide technical support to engineers on assigned projects and operational work Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and reports Utilize engineering software and systems to support design, analysis, and tracking Collect, validate, and perform basic analysis of technical data Coordinate with engineers and project teams to support schedules and deliverables Ensure work complies with established standards, procedures, and safety requirements Identify and escalate technical issues or discrepancies as needed
