One of our best customers, an Environmental Mitigation firm, has asked for our help to recruit and hire a Senior Coastal Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Senior Coastal Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert, leading and assisting teams through innovative and complex coastal resilience projects requiring regulatory approvals, project delivery, and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Coastal, Civil or Marine Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, or the ability to become licensed within six months through reciprocity if licensed in another state
5+ years of progressive engineering experience designing nature-based coastal resilience and waterfront projects such as artificial reefs, living seawalls, breakwaters, mangrove shorelines (8+ years with advanced degree)
Advanced proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, coastal modeling software (e.g. MIKE21) or similar platforms
This position offers:
