Minimum 5 years of industry experience in electronics power conversion product design and manufacturing, or relevant research and product development in support of a doctoral or post-doctoral program
Demonstrated DC-DC converter design experience, AC-DC converter design experience, or inverter design experience
Experience with analog circuit design
Experience with digital design
Experience performing detailed circuit analysis to verify compliance with performance targets
Experience with computer-aided modeling and schematic generation
Preferred Skills Experience with manufacturing standards and practices
Experience leading engineering design staff
Experience designing products for harsh environments, including military applications
Advanced degree in power electronics, such as MSEE or PhD
Relevant published research in power electronics
Job Responsibilities Design analog and digital circuitry for power conversion products
Analyze and design high-reliability, high-power AC-DC and DC-DC power converters
Design power subsystems for applications such as radar, directed energy, and military more electric vehicles
Perform detailed circuit analysis to verify design compliance with specific performance targets
Use computer-aided modeling tools to support design analysis
Generate schematics for power conversion designs
