About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on bringing complex projects to life? Do you excel at coordinating people, processes, and technology to deliver meaningful results? The Innovation & Technology Department is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manage r to lead projects that directly support the Clerks mission and long-term strategy.

In this role, you will guide projects from concept to completiondefining scope, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and leadership to turn business needs into well-executed, well-documented, and measurable outcomes.

What Youll Do

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with management and stakeholders.

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate resources, manage timelines, track milestones, and ensure clear communication across all project participants.

  • Prepare and deliver project reports, presentations, proposals, and governance documentation.

  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and critical pathsescalating and mitigating as needed to keep projects on track.

  • Facilitate project meetings, maintain status updates, and ensure smooth transitions to production support teams.

  • Conduct project retrospectives and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

  • Maintain accurate project records in PPM software and support departmental training and governance activities.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including occasional off-hours work.

What Were Looking For
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent customer service orientation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a matrixed organization.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Office, and related tools.

  • Solid understanding of project management principles, SDLC, and IT industry standards.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects and teams, including external vendors, to meet critical deadlines.

  • Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and self-motivation skills.

  • Associates Degree and two years of experience managing IT projects.
    OR

  • Two years of IT industry experience and two years of experience managing IT projects.

  • PMP certification preferred; ITIL v4 certification a plus.

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

  • A minimum two-year term and successful completion of the training plan are required for promotion eligibility.
