Senior Civil/Structural Design Engineer Nuclear

Seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to support engineering design modifications and plant modernization projects at a nuclear facility.

Requirements:
BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related degree
10+ years of nuclear industry engineering experience
Experience with Civil/Structural design modification packages
Strong knowledge of nuclear industry design processes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access

Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Experience supporting Brunswick Nuclear Plant projects
Experience with 10CFR50.59 evaluations and nuclear modification design

Responsibilities include developing engineering change packages, structural calculations, design specifications, safety evaluations, field engineering support, design revisions, seismic and foundation evaluations, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

This role may require occasional support during off-normal implementation hours.
