We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Coil Winder specializing in large-scale power transformers.
In this role, you will be responsible for the using specialized winding techniques, including Disc, Helical, and CTC
(Continuously Transposed Conductor) winding. This position requires a mastery of tension control and the ability
to interpret complex engineering blueprints to ensure optimal electrical performance and mechanical strength.
Responsibilities
- High-Voltage Coil Winding: Set up and operate heavy-duty winding machines to produce coils for transformers rated at 161 kV, 230 kV, and 345 kV.
- Winding Techniques: Execute complex winding patterns including:
o Disc Winding: Stacking multiple conductor discs in series with precise crossover points.
o Helical (Spiral) Winding: Managing high-current, low-voltage applications using multiple parallel conductors in a spiral configuration.
o CTC Winding: Handling Continuously Transposed Conductors to minimize eddy current losses and ensure uniform current distribution.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and winding specifications to determine turns, dimensions, and insulation requirements.
- Insulation & Assembly:
