Were looking for an experienced, high-energy, HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside our team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Youll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish to meet the needs of our clients. Your role keeps our company connected, and well support you with what you need to be successful. Highlights of your contributions will include:
- Layout and design of HVAC systems.
- Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting these systems, the development of Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
- Development of final construction documents associated with these systems. These systems would include chilled water, cooling water, etc.
- Coordination with other disciplines.
