Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer EIT who will be responsible for assisting in the design, engineering, analysis, equipment selection, and system layout of electrical systems for multi-discipline building design projects for commercial, higher education and government facilities of moderate to large scope.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
- Working with, responding to, and taking direction from Senior Engineers, Project Managers, Managing Principals, Department Directors, and senior management
- Performing various aspects of Electrical Engineering design, including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analysis, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout for building design, upgrades, and retrofits
- Working in a multi-discipline design team supervised by senior engineers and project managers on projects of medium to large scope. Coordinating and communicating with other engineers and design team members
- Meeting with clients as directed
- Complying with the firms quality control policies and procedures
- Learn and implement department and company standards
- Preparing project programming, schematic designs, design development designs, and construction documents.
- Providing electrical support services during the bidding process, such as preparing addenda, amendments, and responding to RFIs
- Providing electrical construction phase services including representing the firm on-site, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and preparing record drawings
