Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of aerospace components and systems. This role will play a key part in product development, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace applications
Create 3D models, drawings, and documentation using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
Perform engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and vibration evaluations
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs
Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are production-ready
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and specifications
Investigate and resolve design-related issues during development and production phases
Support continuous improvement of existing products and systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3-7+ years of mechanical design experience (aerospace preferred)
Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.)
Knowledge of materials, mechanics, and design principles
Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA, etc.) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and project teams
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
