Mechanical design engineering role supporting new product development and sustaining engineering across concept design, prototyping, testing, analysis, and redesign. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience designing, developing, and testing mechanical assemblies and systems

Proficiency with SolidWorks; SolidWorks 2022 or newer preferred

Strong background in mechanical structures and system hardware design

Experience with common manufacturing processes and materials, including:

Die cast components

Injection molded plastics

Stainless steel

Stampings

Fasteners and fastening design

Experience performing engineering analysis, including tolerancing, stress, thermal, and dynamic evaluations

Experience using modeling and simulation tools to support design decisions

Experience supporting prototype development and validation testing

Preferred Skills Experience with ANSYS, MATLAB, SolidWorks Simulation, and Excel for modeling, analysis, and tolerancing

Experience with environmentally sealed or ruggedized designs, including water-resistant or hermetic systems

Aerospace, defense, marine, or similar industry background

Exposure to electromechanical and structural system design

Experience contributing to cost estimates, schedules, and project planning

Experience supporting both new product development and sustaining engineering

Job Responsibilities Support end-to-end product development from concept design through detailed design, prototyping, testing, analysis, and redesign

Develop, build, and validate mechanical assemblies and systems

Perform tolerancing, stress, thermal, and dynamic analysis

Use modeling and simulation tools to evaluate design options

Support new product development and sustaining engineering activities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and design challenges

Assist with prototype development and validation testing

Contribute to cost estimates, schedules, and project planning as needed

Maintain engineering project momentum while internal resources address production priorities
