Perform in cross-disciplinary settings, engage with interfacing teams responsible for mechanical design, core design, licensing, systems design, or other affiliated organizations to find optimum customer solutions. Effectively communicate and coordinate activities with internal and external project managers, technical personnel, and customers on technical issues. Prepare, document and present technical data to internal/external customers. Provide technical mentoring to support Stability Analysis staff development and knowledge management, including procedure development and adherence. Develop/deliver training course offerings in support of external commercial requests, as well as for internal audiences for knowledge management, and knowledge capture and transfer. Contribute to team process improvements to drive speed and simplification. Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or university. Minimum 5 years of experience in plant T-H Stability Safety Analysis and Methods. Eligibility Requirements This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Desired Characteristics Experience in BWR Plant T-H Stability analyses, plant noise analyses, PRNM stability interface, stability setpoints methodology, and frequency and time domain methodologies. Ph.D. and/or M.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering with experience in T-H modeling as applied to nuclear reactor systems. Experience with BWR technology and BWR Stability analysis to support applicable regulatory requirements. Knowledge of plant operational support in the Stability area. Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements. Experience with BWR simulator and use of 3-D neutron kinetics (e.g., PANAC). Experience with BWR/PWR T/H systems codes such as TRACG, RELAP, & TRACE. Programming experience such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON. Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others. Honest and straightforward with a high level of personal integrity. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
