As a Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Transformation Execution Office, contributing to the successful management and support of moderately sized organizational projects.

Responsibilities

Project Management Activities:

  • Perform project management tasks under the guidance of highly experienced project or program managers.
  • Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from small to medium sized initiatives with low to moderate complexity.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals.
  • Projects will frequently necessitate engaging with remote staff and collaborating with vendors to achieve the assigned project objectives.
  • Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment).

Project Planning and Work Breakdown:

  • Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation.
  • Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Budget Management and Risk Mitigation:
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

Strategic Alignment:

  • Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes.
  • Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.

Resource Management:

  • Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
  • Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel.
  • Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget.

Value Management:

  • Facilitate value identification process and deliver value achievement through project outcomes identified in approved Project Charter.
  • Ensure value achieved from project is transitioned appropriately to Operations, ensuring sustainability.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder mapping, communication, and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required.
  • PMP Certification required within 18 months of hire

Pay Range

$83,636.80 - $121,904.64
