Responsibilities
Project Management Activities:
- Perform project management tasks under the guidance of highly experienced project or program managers.
- Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from small to medium sized initiatives with low to moderate complexity.
- Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals.
- Projects will frequently necessitate engaging with remote staff and collaborating with vendors to achieve the assigned project objectives.
- Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment).
Project Planning and Work Breakdown:
- Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation.
- Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Budget Management and Risk Mitigation:
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
Strategic Alignment:
- Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes.
- Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.
Resource Management:
- Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
- Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel.
- Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget.
Value Management:
- Facilitate value identification process and deliver value achievement through project outcomes identified in approved Project Charter.
- Ensure value achieved from project is transitioned appropriately to Operations, ensuring sustainability.
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and maintain stakeholder mapping, communication, and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required.
- PMP Certification required within 18 months of hire
Pay Range
$83,636.80 - $121,904.64
