Mechanical Engineer III

Job Title: Mechanical/Process Engineer

Job Duration: 6 Months (Possibility to extend)

Job Location: North Reading, MA

We're looking for an outstanding process engineer who combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person will be responsible for supporting the introduction and production ramp of 2 new products at our BOS12 manufacturing facility across various process and manufacturing/mechanical engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in process engineering suited for both early-stage prototype builds and production-level assembly, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment driven by aggressive timelines and steep production ramp requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent

Knowledge of MCAD software 3D modeling and 2D drafting

Experience designing mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processes

Experience with rapid prototype assembly

Experience with production tooling

Experience in project management

Strong communication and writing skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience using Agile for PLM

Solidworks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting

Mechanical stack-up analysis

Structural Load Analysis

Use of engineering project management software such as JIRA, Agile, or other Agile tools
