Description:

Director of Engineering Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Engineering Department and engineering staff

Oversee project timelines, budgets, scope, and resource allocation

Develop engineering plans, specifications, and manufacturing documentation

Collaborate with production, project management, and other departments to ensure successful project completion

Monitor project progress and provide updates and reports to leadership

Implement quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Support staff development, training, and performance management

Evaluate tools and processes to improve efficiency and workflow

Qualifications:

Director of Engineering Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

10+ years of engineering/design experience

5+ years of engineering management experience

Experience with Solid Edge or similar design software

Strong Microsoft Office and organizational skills

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience with Microsoft Project or similar software

Manufacturing or construction-related engineering background
