Industrial Engineer II

Akkodis is seeking an Industrial Engineer II for a Contract job with a client in Petersburg, FL . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in manufacturing process optimization, industrial engineering methods, and Lean practices, along with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Industrial Engineer II job responsibilities include:

• Plan, design, and implement production and service delivery systems to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain time standards and process data for manufacturing operations using industrial engineering methodologies.
• Analyze IE metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and process optimization.
• Support projects such as plant layouts, facility moves, capital equipment planning, and tool design.
• Monitor and maintain SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop data for quotations and cost analysis, supporting business planning and decision?making.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers while promoting standardization and Lean manufacturing practices across the site.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, process mapping, facility/layout design, workstation design).
• Experience implementing continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD.
• Experience working with SAP, MES systems, or similar enterprise tools.
• Strong analytical, problem?solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross?functional projects in a fast?paced environment.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
