The Role
Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking a Systems Engineer to work out of itsnew facility in Endicott, NY.
The key responsibilities of this Systems Engineer include, but are notlimited to:
Develop, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, ensuringtraceability from customer needs through design, implementation, andverificationPerform system architecture development, trade studies, and technicalanalyses to support design decisionsInterface with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, test,manufacturing, quality, and program managementSupport system integration, verification, and validation activities,including test planning and results analysisIdentify technical risks and support mitigation planning and executionParticipate in technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) and customerengagementsEnsure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractualrequirementsSupport configuration management, change control, and technicaldocumentation activities

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline3-5 years of systems engineering or related technical experienceExperience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama) preferredFamiliarity with system development lifecycle processes and verificationmethodologiesStrong systems thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to decompose complex problems into structured requirements andarchitecturesClear written and verbal technical communication skillsExperience working in multidisciplinary engineering teamsAttention to detail with an understanding of overall system impactsAbility to balance technical rigor with schedule and cost constraintsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computerOccasional lifting of up to 25 poundsAbility to access manufacturing or test environments as required
