Patient Interface - Mechanical Engineer Location: Murrysville, Pennsylvania (On-site) Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team in advancing hardware designs and quality within a dynamic engineering environment. Responsibilities: Execute hardware requirements analysis and determine optimal component solutions with advanced judgment and autonomy. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and validation protocols to ensure compliance with established hardware design standards. Document hardware design specifications and test outcomes, supervising junior team members to maintain regulatory standards and documentation quality. Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement hardware design improvements based on testing and evaluation, supporting innovation and mentoring team members. Required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or Plastics Engineering, or equivalent education. No prior experience required for candidates with Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 4 years experience required with vocational education in System Architecture, System Design, or Hardware Engineering. Demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and precise datuming techniques for engineering drawings. Ability to adhere to regulatory guidelines while documenting hardware design and validation procedures.
