Mechanical Engineer

Design Engineering Lead needed to support multi-disciplinary industrial projects through AutoCAD design, 3-D modeling, process design, cost estimating, scheduling, and field verification. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Paper Science Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Minimum 10 years of experience in a design engineering role for multi-disciplinary industrial projects

Experience with AutoCAD design

Experience with 3-D modeling

Experience directing design work performed by others

High proficiency in fluid process design, including P&IDs and pumping systems

High proficiency in bulk material handling

Experience developing flow diagrams

Experience developing Process & Instrumentation Diagrams

Experience performing field verifications of new designs and existing environments

Preferred Skills Experience supporting front-end engineering projects

Experience supporting detailed design projects

Experience with project capital cost estimating

Experience with project schedule development

Experience working on industrial process systems

Experience with multi-discipline design coordination

Job Responsibilities Develop AutoCAD designs and 3-D models for industrial engineering projects

Direct and review design work completed by other team members

Support fluid process design, including P&IDs and pumping systems

Support bulk material handling design activities

Develop flow diagrams and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams

Prepare project capital cost estimates

Develop project schedules for front-end engineering and detailed design projects

Perform field verifications for new designs and existing site conditions

Support multi-disciplinary industrial project design from concept through detailed design
