Required Education:High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Education:Associate's degree or technical training in the area of responsibility.Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Minimum of 1 year's experience in a laboratory environment.Minimum of 1 year's experience in electric product development.Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.Preferred Qualifications:1+ years' experience in a lab. environment and PLC product experience.Analyze, document, and report test results within an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratoryUnderstand and interpret a wide range of IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, climatic, and mechanical environmentsExperience in equipment maintenance and inspection.Experience in equipment calibration.Maintain communication and develop relationships with internal and external personnel.Participate and contribute to both internal and external audits of the quality management system.Support the quality management system, accreditation audits, assisting with evidence, method review, corrective actions, and updates to laboratory procedures.Participate in and contribute to the accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025), continuous process improvements.SAP experience.The client is looking for an Engineering Technician. This position will be based at their Johnson City, TN site. This position will work the daytime shift and on-siteResponsibilities:Ensure ongoing accreditation with ISO 17025 requirements for the laboratory.Plan and execute tests at project initiation and manage any issues that occur during testingProvide support for and oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipmentEnsure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with the client's expectations**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
