Mechanical Design Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Tulsa, OK. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience Proficiency in Siemens NX High expertise in at least one additional CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo, NX (preferred) Proven experience designing for complex systems and applications POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies Provide technical expertise across sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and optical systems Develop detailed CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation Support production and manufacturing teams with design for manufacturability Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices Apply advanced engineering analysis and problem-solving techniques PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Strong experience with GD&T Experience supporting production lines and design for manufacturability Experience with shock, vibration, and stress analysis Ability to adapt across different CAD tools and design environments REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. WORK HOURS: Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 1st Shift
