Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. This role requires strong soldering skills, good hand dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and final units using work instructions and schematics
- Solder electrical components, wires, and connectors to company standards
- Assemble precision rare earth magnetic components
- Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality
- Test assemblies for proper mechanical and electrical functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
- Complete production logs, documentation, and quality checklists
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or soldering experience
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and instructions
Preferred:
- Experience in electronics, medical device, aerospace, or precision assembly environments
- Familiarity with ESD handling and lean manufacturing practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25 40 lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination for soldering and assembly tasks
