Project Engineer

Project Engineer $70K-$90K annually/Arvada, COBenefits: Health/Vision/Dental/PTO/401K/etc.Mon-Fri 8: 00 am - 5: 00 pmROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Engineer is primarily responsible for the development and execution of orders. The Project Engineer is fluent on the variations, standards, and specifications relevant to UL 891 and UL1008.Coordinate and lead the full project lifecycle as it pertains to the Engineering effort on all ordersRetaining proper documentationInitial project intake and kickoff internal to EngineeringWork closely with Project Managers to communicate status and needs to/from customersEstablishing relationships with relevant supply chain partners and communicating flow-down requirementsMaintaining RFI logs for projects through submittal approvalSubmittal development and delivery to customers to include: Long lead time component identification and notification to purchasing to match project needsElectrical schematics and project footprint general sizingApplicable standard (UL) checks of complianceCongruent and streamlined coordination of various engineering sub-groups (mechanical and electrical) to put forth a single, accurate, complete project scope and planProject ERP managementQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline or related experienceHigh proficiency in creating/using Microsoft Excel applications that contribute to process automationExceptional organization skills and high level of attention to detailDemonstrable experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD softwareWorking electrical knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage power systemsFirm knowledge of UL 891 and familiarity with other UL Standards particularly 508A and/or 1008 and applicable medium voltage standardsERP experience and knowledge2+ years of Engineering experience or equivalent experience
