About this Position The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of all research activities in the lab, including up to four different research protocols at any given time under a research portfolio. This role has primary responsibility for operational integrity, protocol fidelity, and participant safety across multiple trials and longitudinal studies, which include pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, and substance use disorders. The Project Manager will assist the Project Director in overseeing the execution of each study component across protocols including participant management, data collection, biospecimen processing and storage, quality control, training, and operations. Required Qualifications: Master's degree- Psychology, Cognitive Science, Public Health, Education or related field. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) 3-5 years of previous research experience focusing on vulnerable populations such as pregnant individuals and/or individuals with substance use disorder. Experience with data entry, data coding, and data quality control is required. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Ability to manage multiple tasks and exceptional time-management skills is necessary. Willingness to contribute to the research agenda on one night a week and one weekend a month. Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner and ensure smooth data collection appointments. Ability to navigate various data collection platforms and project management programs including REDCap, Clincard, and others as needed for the position. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting neuroimaging research, including MRI-based studies involving pregnant individuals, infants, children or clinical populations. Experience supporting randomized controlled trials, clinical interventions, or treatment studies is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience working with IRBs on amendments, continuing review, and reportable events. Direct experience with infant or perinatal populations is highly desirable. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Familiarity with neuroimaging workflows, including participant preparation, safety screening, and scanning scheduling.
