The Business Development Engineer will work with the business development and engineering teams to develop, implement, and execute organization plans that support the commercial growth of the company by identifying new opportunities and developing separation processes for clients within targeted industries. Training in the companys equipment, policies, procedures, and safety protocols is provided.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Contributes information, ideas, and research to create business development strategies within the company's core business segments.
- Develop engineering sales strategies and approaches for various products and services.
- Sets schedules and coordinates with colleagues to implement strategies across multiple channels.
- Work with process and application engineers to detail, design, and implement test plans for centrifugal separation processes.
- Coordinate and execute technical sales meetings with clients.
- Supports engineering teams with delivery of projects from conception through FAT and job-site start-up.
- Maintains, tracks, and analyzes sales data, trends and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
- Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers.
- Coordinates and attends trade shows including planning and logistics for up to 8-10 trade shows annually.

Experience & Requirements
The successful candidate will be a fast learner, self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to interact with the team. This person would correspond with our customers to successfully grow business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, experience in technical writing/document management.
- Knowledge of industrial processing equipment and management systems.
- Willingness to regularly travel to customer sites across North America.
- Ability to comprehend technical specifications, bills of materials, mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, drawing applications (AutoCad, SolidWorks), CRM platforms.
