Earthjustice's Project Management Office is seeking a two-year Sr. Project Manager. This is a non-supervisory position that will report to the Sr. Project and Portfolio Manager. This position requires the Sr. Project Manager to work collaboratively across multiple internal departments and external vendors. This role will focus on multiple high-impact projects, such as records management and updating technologies. We are seeking applications from strong project managers who can nimbly move between multiple technologies and project groups, meet overlapping deadlines, and be highly detail oriented. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and leadership skills to lead meetings, gain team agreements, delegate tasks, provide sound recommendations, and manage various stakeholders to move the projects forward effectively. The Sr. Project Manager is expected to work a full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule and may work remotely from the U.S. WHAT YOULL DO Project Management (75%)
- Develop detailed project plans for projects including scope, stakeholder and communication plans, risk management plans, and project timelines.
- Work with technical leads to gather and prioritize project requirements and features, and plan building phases. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, action items, and debriefings as needed.
- Track project deliverables; prioritize and schedule tasks with project team members; remove roadblocks; and highlight/escalate risks, issues, and dependencies across tasks, project teams, and projects to keep work on track.
- Perform vendor management functions including managing the Request for information (RFI) and the Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and external vendor deliverables.

- In partnership with the Portfolio manager, and other subject matter experts, develop change management and communications plans that will guide stakeholders through project implementation.
- Coordinate training across mediums and ensure the appropriate level of training is provided to staff.
- Actively pursue professional development and contribute to a culture of learning by building skills and sharing knowledge.
- 7+ plus years experience in a related Project Management position.
- Certification or training in project management. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience with project management in a nonprofit is desirable.
- Experience working on hybrid and agile tech implementation projects.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and standard business technology is a must.
- Must have outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and be able to comprehend complex information.
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be an active listener.
