Systems Engineer

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a System Engineer to join a growing organization supporting critical safety infrastructure. You'll help redesign legacy systems, solve complex technical problems, and build engineering capability from the ground up. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on Electrical Engineer who enjoys design, problem-solving, and working in highly regulated environments. Role: System Engineer Location : Norcross Onsite: 100% onsite (non-negotiable) Job Type: permanent Pay: $110,000 - $120,000 annually What You'll Do: Design and reverse engineer obsolete electrical/I&C components Create electrical schematics, PCB layouts, design calculations, FMEAs, and technical documentation Lead component equivalency analysis, troubleshooting, and failure investigations Oversee qualification testing and vendor/test lab coordination Support project schedules, estimating, and cross-functional engineering initiatives What You Bring: BS in Electrical Engineering ( required ) 10+ years of electrical systems design experience Strong analog electronics, circuit analysis, PCB design, and signal integrity experience Reverse engineering or redesign experience Background in heavily regulated industries preferred Why Join?
